15 March, 2016, India: Moved by the startup sector of the country, National Association of Software & Services (NASSCOM) has joined hands with Government of Andhra Pradesh and launched NASSCOM Startup Warehouse in Vizag, today.

With this launch, the state is gearing up to create a platform which will provide advanced technology and state-of-the-art infrastructure to the startup ecosystem. This podium will not only technically assist the entrepreneurs associated with the startup sector but will also aid them financially by helping in raising funding from investors. The Startup Warehouse will be located at Sunrise Tower in Vizag.

Some of the features of the NASSCOM Warehouse-

  • Co-working space for startups to be housed for 6 month incubation period
  • Co-working space for entrepreneurs to use on a daily/weekly basis
  • A well-equipped community events space available for meet-ups & workshops

Elaborating on the warehouse, Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, said, “To create a more vibrant startup ecosystem in the region we need partnerships like these which help in encouraging the local entrepreneurs. NASSCOM is doing tremendously well in support of the startup ecosystem in the country. We need such collaborations in every city to boost this ecosphere.”
