5 February, 206, New Delhi: NDTV one of the biggest and renowned media houses of the country has ventured into the world of fashion and style. Its ecommerce portal, IndianRoots in association with 6Degree has launched Fashion Business Accelerator.
With this platform, company aims to provide hi-tech facilities and business opportunities to young dynamic fashion professionals. The platform will help these young entrepreneurs to excel in their business and to take it to the next level. Currently, company’s incubator centres are located in Goa and Gurgaon. In order to get enrolled to these centres, candidate has to clear the selection procedure and after that, the designer has to pay a nominal rent of Rs 10,000 to get place in the centre.
The centre will be equipped with facilities such as cutting tables, steam iron, machines, pattern master, tailors, embroiders, etc. NDTV has not let any stone untouched for its centre. As per the programme, the designers will not only going get state-of-the-art facilities, but they will also be guided by some of the stalwarts of the industry. Guides will be assisting the designers on gaining knowledge on the current topics such as trend forecasting, designing, finding investment, selling online or in stores, etc. IndianRoots.com ventured into the business in August 2013 by Rahul Narvekar.
