23rd August 2016, Astana, Kazakhstan : Astana to host clean tech startups contest #NEWENERGY global startup fest. #NEWENERGY global startup fest is an international contest that gathers biggest startups, investors and experts in clean tech and renewable energy.
The contest is organized with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and will be held on October 27, 2016 in Astana. Its main objective is to attract and share innovative ideas in clean tech field among companies, investment funds, experts and professionals from all over the world.
During the contest world’s Top 100 startup companies will present latest global trends in the filed of alternative and renewable energy sources, climate and ecology, smart cities and sustainable infrastructure, rational and efficient use of water resources, new production technologies and methods.
Experts panel and visitors will vote for 30 best startups that’ll get contest main prize and unique chance to present their companies at Astana EXPO-2017, leading event in energy efficiency that will be held in Astana next year.
Companies may submit their startups on #NEWENERGY global startup fest web-site. Submissions are open from August 9, 2016 till October 1, 2016.
Startup companies from the US, India, Denmark, Israel, Turkey and Ukraine has already applied.
