Wow Venue, the venue booking platform based in Mumbai, has now secured $1.5 million in a funding round from a strategic investor, Pranav Pathak. It is basically a premium venue booking platform for the corporate, social, weddings, as well as for MICE (Meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) events.
The Mumbai-based startup is planning to scale up its growth and marketing expansion for the brand and its MICE portfolio by utilizing the new capital. It is also gearing up to hire skilled resources to execute its expansion plan.
Founded by Ganesh Rai, Wow Venue is a platform that streamlines the process of searching, choosing, and booking the perfect venue for events and thus, makes the entire process hassle-free.
The dedicated venue expert of the platform eases the booking experience further. With more than 2000 venues across 12 countries, Wow Venue claims to offer a cost-effective solution for booking venues.
In India, it is currently operating in 12 cities which include Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, and NCR.
