Last week, MW3 saw some difficult days due to an issue that caused players’ progress in events, battle passes, rankings, and other areas to be reset. After releasing a patch, the developers even offered an additional Double XP weekend in an attempt to defuse tensions. Fans claim that since the update was issued, the servers have been awful, thus it appears like things are getting worse. Many of these players are now quitting the game entirely.
The servers are driving away MW3 players
A video clip with the simple caption “I’m done…” was posted to the MW3 subreddit.
In the video, the player is shown getting the upper hand on their opponent and having nearly flawless shot placement. But the hit detection is nearly non-existent, so instead of getting the simple kill, their opponent ends up outclassing them.
Fans who believe there is a problem with the servers and net code are not alone in their frustration, according to responses from the community. “I stopped playing tonight because of this issue,” one guy stated. That’s frustrating, albeit maybe that’s because of the game or my service provider. This afternoon, everything went smoothly.
It appears that since the current advancement bug fix was released, a large number of MW3 gamers have been having this issue. But for many gamers who have been having trouble with the game for a long, this is undoubtedly the last straw. It is clear that the MW3 community is dissatisfied with the game, and it will require a major effort on the part of the developers to win them back.
Warzone’s Major Problems Following the Most Recent Update
Champion’s Quest, a Gulag event, and two new weapons were added to Warzone in Call of Duty: Season 1 Reloaded. The Weapons Case and Covert Exfil features were originally intended to be included in the update, however, they have been postponed until further notice. The developers of Warzone said that they will be included later, along with a playlist that highlights the new features. For the first time since Season 1’s debut, Warzone fans were thrilled to see new material introduced, however, once the update was released, some fans’ excitement was immediately dashed.
Many Warzone gamers are claiming that an infinite looping bug is preventing them from getting past the game’s menu after the most recent update. When players try to load into Warzone from the Call of Duty main menu, their screen alternates between loading screens very quickly, making the game unplayable. Players are reporting this problem across all platforms. Although most Call of Duty players are accustomed to problems, this one is exceptionally bothersome, especially in light of the recent hype around the release of Season 1 Reloaded.
Fans are hopeful that Call of Duty will provide a solution soon, however, it’s unknown how long this problem will last. As of the time of writing, Call of Duty had temporarily disabled the new Champion’s Quest feature in an attempt to fix the issue. A PC user discovered a workaround for the repeating menu bug: click the Rio 24/7 button in the background, then press escape.
