Strengthening India-France Ties
The summit follows several recent engagements between Modi and Macron. Their last meeting took place on November 18, 2024, during the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Earlier in the year, Macron attended India’s Republic Day celebrations as the Chief Guest and met Modi during the G7 Summit in Italy.
During their November meeting, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the India-France Strategic Partnership. They emphasized shared goals outlined in the Horizon 2047 roadmap, including collaboration on digital technology and artificial intelligence.
