Samsung has launched new smartphones – Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e and S10 5G under it’s Galaxy S Series. This was 10th anniversary of Galaxy S Series and Samsung decided to make it special by launching four smartphones (one with 5G).
Samsung also launched it’s foldable smartphone – Galaxy Fold
The smartphones under Galaxy S10 series have 3.5mm Headphone Jack.
Let’s take a quick look on these smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S10
The Samsung Galaxy S10 has 6.4 inch Quad HD+ AMOLED Display. The display has 19:9 screen aspect ratio. the pixel density is 550 ppi. The company is calling the display of Galaxy S10 as Infinity-O display.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 will have either 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM with either 128 GB or 512 GB Internal Storage. The smartphone also has a MicroSD card slot which supports MicroSD cards of capacity upto 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 has a 3400 mAh battery. It The smartphone supports Wireless Charging. The smartphone supports Quick Charging in both Wired and Wireless charging.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 has triple rear camera setup which includes a 12 MP telephoto lens, a 12 MP Wide-angle lens and a 16 MP Ultra-Wide lens.
The 12 MP Wide-angle camera has dual aperture. It has f/1.5 aperture and f/2.4 aperture. Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is present on this lens.
The 16 MP Ultra Wide lens has f/2.2 aperture. And the 12 MP telephoto lens has f/2.4 aperture. The cameras supports 0.5X/2X Optical Zoom and upto 10X Digital Zoom.
The Galaxy S10 has a 10 MP front camera. The front camera has f/1.9 aperture.
The dimensions of Galaxy S10 is 74.1×149.9×7.8mm. The smartphone weights 157g.
The smartphone runs on Android Pie.

Samsung Galaxy S10+
The bigger sibling of Galaxy S10 has a 6.4 inch QHD+ AMOLED display. It also has the screen aspect ratio of 19:9. The pixel density is 522 ppi.
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ will have either 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The smartphone will have three internal storage variants – 128 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB (The storage variant may vary depending on your region).
The smartphone also has a MicroSD card slot which supports MicroSD cards of capacity upto 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ has a 4100 mAh battery. It The smartphone supports Wireless Charging. The smartphone supports Quick Charging in both Wired and Wireless charging.
The Galaxy S10+ also have the triple rear camera setup (like Galaxy S10). The rear camera combination includes a 12 MP telephoto lens, a 12 MP Wide-angle lens and a 16 MP Ultra-Wide lens.
The 12 MP Wide-angle camera has dual aperture. It has f/1.5 aperture and f/2.4 aperture. Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is present on this lens.
The 16 MP Ultra Wide lens has f/2.2 aperture. And the 12 MP telephoto lens has f/2.4 aperture. The cameras supports 0.5X/2X Optical Zoom and upto 10X Digital Zoom.
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ has dual front camera setup which includes a 10 MP camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 8 MP RGB depth camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The dimensions of Galaxy S10+ are 74.1×157.6×7.8mm. The normal variant weights 175g, while the ceramic variant weights 198g.
This smartphone also runs on Android Pie.
Samsung Galaxy S10e
Samsung also launched a smaller sibling of Galaxy S10 – Samsung Galaxy S10e.
The Samsung Galaxy S10e has a 5.8 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It has the screen aspect ratio of 19:9. The pixel density is 438 ppi.
The Galaxy S10e will have either 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The smartphone will be available in two Internal Storage variants – 128 GB or 256 GB. It also has a MicroSD card slot which supports MicroSD cards of capacity upto 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S10e has dual rear camera setup which includes a 12 MP primary camera and a 16 MP ultra wide camera. The primary camera has dual aperture – f/1.5 and f/2.4. The ultra-wide angle camera has f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone offers 0.5 X Optical Zoom and 8X Digital Zoom.
The Galaxy S10e has a 10 MP single front camera. The front camera has the aperture f/1.9.
The Galaxy S10e has 3100 mAh battery. It supports Wireless charging like it’s bigger siblings. The smartphone also supports fast charging on Wired and Wireless Charging.
The dimensions of Samsung Galaxy S10e are 69.9 x 142.2 x 7.9 mm. The smartphone weights 150g.
The Galaxy S10e also runs on Android Pie.
The Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S10e supports Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, MST. All of them have USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
The smartphones support WiFi 6, which is expected to improve WiFi performance.
The Galaxy S10 smartphones have in-display ultrasonic fingerprint.
The company claims that the display panel reduces blue light without using a filter.
The smartphones supports video HDR10+ video recording.

The company has added a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for better camera processing.
The US variant will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, while other variants will have the new Exynos processor build on 8nm design.
The price of Samsung Galaxy S10 starts from $899.99 (about ₹64k). The Samsung Galaxy S10+ price starts from $999.99 (about ₹71k) and the price of Samsung Galaxy S10e starts from $749.99 (about ₹53k).
