Samsung is preparing for another spectacular launch later this year with the Galaxy Tab S10 series. Following the successful launch of its flagship foldable smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked event, the tech behemoth is now focusing on its new line of tablets. Production is set to begin in August, and excitement is developing about what these premium devices will offer. Here’s everything we know so far regarding the Galaxy Tab S10 series.

In a recent post on X (previously Twitter), Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), stated that Samsung will begin manufacturing the Galaxy Tab S10 series in August. This is consistent with prior leaks and reports, pointing to an October launch for these highly anticipated tablets. Journalist Max Jambor also hinted at an October release date, which Young’s confirmation reinforces.

According to Ross Young, this year’s series will have two models: the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Notably, this suggests that Samsung may be eliminating the base model tablet, which differs from past releases. Both models will be offered in two basic colors: grey and silver, for a clean and professional look.

Here are the complete latest new specs and details for Galaxy Tab S10 series including the Samsung Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus

The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus is expected to have a big AMOLED display of at least 12 inches. This size provides a bright and immersive viewing experience, ideal for media consumption, productivity, and creative work. Benchmark findings indicate that this model will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and have 12GB of RAM.

It is expected to run the latest Android 14 operating system, providing the most recent software experience. The model number of the Tab S10 Plus is believed to be SM-X828U.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to have a 14.6-inch AMOLED display, like its predecessor. This huge screen will most likely appeal to customers that require a larger canvas for multitasking, design work, or simply viewing high-definition material. According to leaked renderings, the Ultra model will keep its sleek, minimalist style and will feature an AKG quad-speaker configuration for excellent music quality.

Additionally, the S-Pen is believed to magnetically attach to the rear of the tablet, preserving the handy and integrated stylus experience that Samsung users have grown to enjoy.

Other Specification Details

While full specifications have yet to be officially confirmed, the leaks provide us a tantalizing preview of what to expect from the Galaxy Tab S10 series. Both models are believed to have huge, high-resolution AMOLED panels that provide vivid colors and strong contrasts. The adoption of AMOLED technology means that these tablets will have excellent image quality, making them suitable for both work and play.

The Tab S10 Plus is expected to have the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, which is a strong processor that should perform well for everyday work, gaming, and multitasking. With 12GB of RAM, this tablet is capable of handling heavy programs with ease. The Ultra model’s characteristics have not yet been completely revealed, but it is safe to assume that it will be at least as powerful, if not more so, than the Plus variant.

Although camera specifications have not been widely leaked, Samsung’s tablets normally include high-quality cameras capable of video chats, document scanning, and casual shooting. The Ultra model’s quad-speaker configuration, calibrated by AKG, indicates that audio quality will be a key selling feature, enabling clean and immersive sound for media and communication.

Battery life is always an important consideration for tablets, and while specifics have not been disclosed, we can anticipate Samsung to equip the Tab S10 series with large batteries capable of lasting a full day of use. Fast charging technology is also expected to be incorporated, allowing users to swiftly recharge their gadgets and resume their tasks.

Conclusion

As the planned October debut date near, interest for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series grows. With production expected to begin in August, we may expect additional leaks and official announcements in the coming months. The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra are expected to deliver premium specifications and features, making them strong challengers in the high-end tablet market.
