Developer InnerSloth has announced that the character Scream Ghostface will appear in Among Us with new cosmetics. A ghostly face from the Scream film series will appear on Among Us as part of a popular collaboration with the first live-action film. While this is the first collaboration between Among Us, and the film series, They have previously already hosted celebrity guests. While it’s currently unknown what the More Among Us collaboration is, the Scream franchise crossover sets the precedent for what players can reasonably expect.
A new collaboration from Scream will bring Ghostface masks and Ghostface weapons to us. Scream is back in theaters, and among us had some fun by donning Ghostface in the popular murder mystery game. To celebrate the release of the new Scream movie, the popular multiplayer video game has added an official Ghostface cosmetic among Us.
While more details on what the new cosmetics will include have yet to be revealed, Paramount Pictures has shared a video of several scream actors playing among us with streamers. Additionally, as part of the “Among Us” promotion, the cast of the “Scream” franchise joined the “Among Us” streamers, who uploaded the full video to YouTube for all to see and excerpts on Twitter an experience. The 20-minute video was uploaded to the official Paramount Pictures YouTube channel and shut down as all players watched the new “The Scream” movie trailer and announced “Among Us,” but no expiration date or date was revealed. Ghostface’s official makeup was announced at the end of a video uploaded by Paramount Pictures on YouTube featuring Scream stars Jack Quaid and Mason Gooding alongside online personalities Chilled Chaos, 5up, TinaKitten, and Kara Corvus play among us.
That makes Among Us the perfect game for Jack Quaid and Mason Gooding to celebrate the new Scream movie. With the update among us, Ghostface, the main antagonist of the scream movies, will be playable in the online video game. In an upcoming update, Ghostface, the Screams mascot, is ready to enter our ranks.
While there isn’t much information in the news, at least we know that Ghostface, the main villain of the horror movie saga, will have his own skin among us. Developer Innersloth hasn’t revealed the exact nature of the upcoming Scream/Among Us crossover, but our funding will go towards Ghostface costumes, whether you’re an imposter or not, and Ghostface-themed kill animations.
Fans will be able to see what Ghostfaces look like in Among Us, and while Ghostface’s costume in the Scream movie is black, players will be able to change the color, with some pink, blue, and red options. A brief announcement screen revealed that Among Us players will be able to unlock the iconic Screaming Ghostface cape and mask in the near future.
