Snapdeal parent AceVector is set to enter the public markets, with the company filing its red herring prospectus on September 21 and announcing that its maiden initial public offering (IPO) will open for subscription on September 25.
Promoted by Kunal Bahl, Rohit Kumar Bansal and SoftBank, the company plans to raise Rs 287 crore through a fresh issue of equity shares. Existing shareholders will also sell up to 4.15 crore shares through an offer-for-sale (OFS).
The IPO will remain open until September 29, while the anchor book for institutional investors is scheduled to open for one day on September 24. The allotment of shares is expected to be finalised on September 30, with trading likely to begin on the stock exchanges from October 5.
AceVector is expected to announce the IPO price band separately on September 22.

SoftBank, Nexus Venture Partners to sell shares
The OFS will include shares held by SoftBank subsidiary Starfish and investor Nexus Venture Partners. Other selling shareholders include FIH Business Global, Kenneth Stuart Glass, Jason Ashok Kothari, Rupen Investment and Industries, Centaurus Trading and Investments, and Laurent Bernard Amouyal.
The size of the IPO has been scaled down from the company’s earlier plans. The fresh issue was previously proposed at Rs 300 crore, while the OFS was expected to comprise 6.38 crore equity shares.
The changes were disclosed in the updated draft red herring prospectus filed with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in December 2025. SEBI had cleared AceVector’s confidentially filed IPO papers in November 2025.
The company has also raised Rs 13 crore through a pre-IPO round, with the amount subsequently adjusted against the fresh issue component.
AceVector IPO structure
AceVector has reserved 75 percent of the issue for qualified institutional buyers, while non-institutional investors will receive a 15 percent allocation. Retail investors have been allocated the remaining 10 percent.
Starfish is currently AceVector’s largest shareholder, holding a 30.11 percent stake. Kunal Bahl owns 12.19 percent, while Rohit Kumar Bansal holds 10.93 percent.
B2 Professional Services LLP, which is owned by the wives of Bahl and Bansal, holds another 10.87 percent stake in the company.
IIFL Capital Services, CLSA India and Systematix Corporate Services have been appointed as merchant bankers for the IPO.
Snapdeal, Unicommerce form core businesses
Gurgaon-headquartered AceVector operates an asset-light digital commerce ecosystem spanning multiple businesses.
Its portfolio includes Snapdeal, which operates its value-focused e-commerce marketplace, Unicommerce eSolutions, which provides e-commerce enablement software through a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, and Stellaro Brands, which houses its consumer brands.
The company plans to use a significant portion of the IPO proceeds to expand its marketplace business. Around Rs 132 crore from the fresh issue is earmarked for marketing and business promotion expenses.
Another Rs 50 crore will be used for technology infrastructure for the marketplace business. The remaining proceeds will be deployed towards inorganic growth, including acquisitions, as well as general corporate purposes.
Revenue rises as losses narrow
AceVector remains loss-making, although its financial performance showed improvement in FY26.
The company reported a net loss of Rs 60.7 crore for the financial year ended March 2026, compared with a loss of Rs 139.2 crore in the previous fiscal year.
At the same time, revenue from operations increased 29.2 percent to Rs 510.4 crore in FY26, from Rs 395 crore in FY25.
The combination of rising revenue and narrowing losses comes as AceVector prepares to take its businesses to the public markets. Investors will be able to assess the company’s growth strategy, marketplace investments and path towards profitability once the price band and detailed IPO valuation are announced.

AceVector heads to Dalal Street
AceVector’s IPO marks an important milestone for the company and its flagship Snapdeal marketplace. With SoftBank and other existing investors participating in the OFS, the issue will also provide an opportunity for shareholders to partially monetise their holdings.
The IPO will open on September 25 and close on September 29, with listing currently expected on October 5. The final issue pricing and investor response will determine how the company is valued as it transitions from a privately held digital commerce business to a publicly traded company.
