Education startup Sunstone Eduversity has now secured INR 11.3 crore from a clutch of investors in the funding round of seed.
Bangalore based early-stage venture capital firm Prime Venture Partners led the funding round, along with the Lets Venture, PS1 Venture, and Rajul Garg, who invested in his personal capacity.
The Gurugram based startup runs the professional education programs for the students in partnership with the colleges. The program is run on the campus of the partner college, program design, admissions, education content, and even on the placement are all done by the Sunstone.
“The biggest positive of our course is we offer ‘pay after placement’ which means students can do the course by just paying an admission fee, after two years once they get placed we charge ten times of their monthly salary at which they get placed,” said Piyush Nangru, cofounder, Sunstone Eduversity. “Since our revenue is dependent on their jobs, we work very hard to get them placed in the right place and at the right salaries.”
