19 May 2016, NEW DELHI: Delhi based Cab aggregation platform TaxiVaxi raised $500K (Rs. 3.36 crore approx.) in second round of Seed funding from its investors (details were undisclosed).
The company plans to use this capital to expand its presence across the country, as well as towards product development.
According to sources and reports by ET, co-founder and CEO of TaxiVaxi, Neeraj Tayal said, “We will be adding more services, and look to enhance our technology capabilities and develop the team further, as we keep growing our footprint”.
TaxiVaxi earlier raised angel funding in November 2015 for an undisclosed value.
TaxiVaxi is an aggregator of cabs, including radio taxis like Meru Cabs, Ola and Uber, self-drive operators, and tour operators. Commencing operations in 2014, TaxiVaxi was founded by Neeraj Tayal, Ankit Gupta, Vinod Sah and is operated by BAI Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. The company currently operates in 300 cities across India, and claims to have between 125-150 cab companies on its platform.
