Trell Experiences, which owns the video blogging platform Trell, has now secured $304268 as a debt from returning investors Singapore based early venture capital firm Beenext.
The Bangalore based startup issued 21500 compulsory convertible debentures, at the INR 1000 each to the Beenext in October, said the announcement.
Launched in the month of August 2017, Trell is a video first experience discovery platform targeted at millennials to share the content related to the movies, food, books, and travel.
Beenext’s investments in Indian startups include Droom, No broker, Cred, Rebel Foods, Tracxn, and Zefo.
Trell competes with the travel-focused user-generated blogging sites such as the Tripoto. In the month of April, Tripoto had secured $3.6 million in the funding round of Series B.
