Uniphore has secured $51 Million in the funding round of Series C round led by the March Capital Partners, as the Speech Recognition company even looks to grow its business in North America.
Chiratae Ventures, Patni Family, Sistema Asia among the others have also participated in the funding round.
The Chennai based company builds the AI-based bots that can even understand the queries and respond to customers and offers a host of analytics to companies on the quality of service.
The company which is also registered in the United States is now looking to expand across the globe, but with the CEO and Co-founder Umesh relocating to the US will focus largely on North America.
“With this new round of funding, we will be able to accelerate our global expansion and better serve our customers by developing and delivering innovative Conversational Service Automation solutions to more organizations around the world,” Sachdev said.
Former Cisco chairman John Chambers, who picked up a 10% stake in Uniphore in 2017, said, “Uniphore’s innovative conversational AI solutions address the growing needs of businesses to provide personalized customer experiences more efficiently and effectively.
