According to reports, Ratan Tata backed Online furniture retailer, Urban Ladder is in talks with investors to raise USD 60 million.
According to Business Standard, the company might be in talks with SAIFÂ Partners and Sequoia Capital to raise funds. The funds are expected to be used for product portfolio expansion and brand building exercises.

Urban Ladder was started by Ashish Goel and Rajiv Srivatsa in 2012. Ashish Goel previously worked with McKinsey & Company and served as the COO of Amar Chitra Katha. Rajiv Srivatsa previously worked with Cognizant and Yahoo! before co-founding Urban Ladder.
The company plans to expand its presence to 25-30 cities by 2016.
