Vinod Khosla is an American businessman who was born on 28 January 1955 in Delhi, India. Vinod graduated in Electrical Engineering from IIT- New Delhi. He holds a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Vinod is the founder of Khosla Ventures – the firm which manages approximately $1 billion of investor capital as well as investments funded by him.
Vinod was a co-founder of Daisy systems and founding CEO of Sun Microsystems-the company which created the Java programming language and Network File System (NFS).
