Ramp Raises $1.85 Billion at $60 Billion Valuation as Annualised Revenue Tops $2 Billion

Financial technology company Ramp has raised $1.85 billion in a funding round that values the company at $60 billion, as its annualised revenue surpasses $2 billion. The milestone highlights growing investor interest in financial automation platforms and artificial intelligence-powered tools designed to help businesses manage spending and improve operational efficiency.

Ramp offers an integrated platform for corporate cards, expense management, bill payments, procurement and financial reporting. Its products help businesses monitor expenditure, automate administrative tasks and gain greater visibility into their financial operations.

Revenue Growth Drives Investor Confidence

Crossing the $2 billion annualised revenue threshold represents a significant milestone for Ramp. Annualised revenue estimates a company’s yearly performance based on a recent revenue run rate, rather than necessarily reflecting revenue earned over a completed financial year.

The company’s growth reflects increasing demand for technology that simplifies corporate financial management. Businesses are looking for ways to reduce unnecessary expenses, streamline payment processes and make informed decisions using real-time financial data.

Ramp’s approach combines multiple financial workflows within a single platform, allowing organisations to manage spending and monitor transactions without relying on disconnected systems.

AI and Automation Shape Future Growth

Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly important in financial technology. Automated tools can help businesses categorise expenses, identify unusual transactions, process invoices and detect potentially unnecessary spending.

By incorporating automation into financial workflows, Ramp aims to reduce manual work and help finance teams operate more efficiently. However, maintaining data security, accuracy and customer trust remains essential as businesses adopt AI-driven financial solutions.

The company operates in a competitive market that includes established financial institutions and expense management providers. Sustaining growth will depend on product innovation, customer retention and its ability to demonstrate measurable value.

What’s Next for Ramp?

The $1.85 billion funding round provides Ramp with additional capital to support product development and business expansion. Its $60 billion valuation also raises expectations regarding future growth and financial performance.

With annualised revenue exceeding $2 billion, Ramp has established considerable commercial scale. Its next challenge will be to maintain that momentum while strengthening its competitive position in the evolving financial technology industry.

Antler Invests £2.2 Million in 10 UK Startups as Physical AI Gains Ground

Venture capital firm Antler has invested £2.2 million in 10 UK startups, highlighting growing interest in physical artificial intelligence (AI) and technology designed to solve real-world industrial challenges. The investment supports early-stage companies developing solutions across sectors, including automation, biotechnology, education and financial services.

The funding forms part of Antler’s efforts to support promising founders at the pre-seed stage, helping them develop products, validate business models and establish their presence in competitive markets. The selected startups are working on diverse technologies, with several focusing on applications that connect AI with physical environments and industrial processes.

Among the companies receiving investment are Cloop, which aims to automate everyday tasks, and Lir Labs, which focuses on biological water treatment. Marco is developing technology related to physical intelligence, while Ninopay helps families manage childcare payments by allowing providers to receive payments upfront.

Other selected startups include Picnic, Plenex, siliXon and Sonura, alongside two companies operating in stealth mode.

Physical AI Gains Momentum

Physical AI refers to artificial intelligence systems that interact with the physical world through machines, sensors, robotics and industrial equipment. Unlike conventional AI applications that primarily process digital information, these technologies can support activities such as manufacturing, inspection and automated operations.

Growing interest in the field reflects opportunities to improve efficiency in industries where many processes still depend on manual work. However, developing physical AI solutions can require significant testing, specialised engineering and integration with existing infrastructure.

Exclusive: Antler throws £500K at UK startups from day one, betting big on AI and technical founders — TFN

Antler’s investment strategy reflects how founders are increasingly identifying opportunities in traditional industries rather than focusing exclusively on software applications.

The latest funding will help the selected startups advance product development, test their technologies and pursue early customers. Their progress will depend on their ability to demonstrate practical value and establish sustainable business models.

As investment in artificial intelligence expands, Antler’s latest move signals growing attention towards technologies that bring AI into real-world environments. The funding also highlights the continuing role of early-stage venture capital in supporting emerging businesses across the UK technology ecosystem.

Rohlik Founder’s Duvo Raises $32 Million from Balderton to Scale Enterprise AI Beyond Pilot Projects

Duvo, an enterprise artificial intelligence startup founded by Rohlik entrepreneur Tomáš Čupr, has raised $32 million in a Series A funding round led by Balderton Capital. The investment brings the company’s total funding to $48 million and will support its expansion into the United States, initially targeting retailers and consumer goods businesses.

Existing investors Index Ventures, Northzone and Credo Ventures also participated in the round. The funding comes as companies increasingly explore AI automation but struggle to move experimental projects into everyday business operations.

Turning AI Pilots into Real Business Operations

Founded in 2025, Duvo develops an enterprise platform designed to help companies automate complex workflows across existing business software. Its technology connects enterprise resource planning systems, supplier portals, spreadsheets and email, allowing AI agents to perform repetitive tasks while keeping employees involved in decisions requiring human judgment.

The platform first maps how employees currently complete tasks using AI-assisted interviews, screen recordings and existing documents. It then automates approved processes and directs exceptions to the appropriate employees.

Duvo Raises $32 Million Series A to Become the One Platform Enterprises Run Their Operations On

The company aims to address a persistent challenge in enterprise AI: promising pilot projects often fail to deliver measurable results when deployed across complex organisations.

Focus on Productivity Rather Than Job Cuts

Founder Tomáš Čupr, who established online grocery business Rohlik, said his perspective on AI has shifted from measuring success through the number of jobs replaced to evaluating how much additional value employees can create.

Duvo says its technology has helped customers unlock more than $100 million in value across finance, supply chains, customer service, marketing and human resources.

One example is online beauty retailer Notino, where the company says quarterly reconciliation of supplier bonuses worth approximately $45 million annually fell from 70 days to 15 days. Specialist working hours per cycle reportedly dropped from around 120 to fewer than 10.

Expansion Plans

Duvo plans to use the new capital to expand its US operations and strengthen its presence among retailers and consumer goods companies.

With enterprise AI adoption accelerating, the startup is betting that businesses need systems capable of delivering operational improvements, not simply demonstrating AI capabilities. Its challenge will be converting early customer results into sustainable growth across a wider range of industries.

Bolt Graphics Seeks $100 Million at $700 Million Valuation to Challenge Nvidia and AMD With Zeus GPU

Bolt Graphics is reportedly seeking to raise $100 million at a $700 million valuation as it develops its Zeus graphics processing unit (GPU) to challenge established chipmakers Nvidia and AMD. The fundraising effort reflects growing competition in the semiconductor industry, where demand for high-performance computing continues to rise.

The company is developing its Zeus GPU architecture for applications involving graphics rendering, scientific computing and artificial intelligence. Its ambitions come as businesses increasingly require powerful processors for AI workloads, professional visualisation and other computationally intensive tasks.

Challenging Established GPU Manufacturers

Nvidia and AMD have long dominated significant segments of the graphics processing market. Their established hardware portfolios, software ecosystems and relationships with developers give them considerable advantages over emerging competitors.

Nvidia, in particular, has strengthened its position through its CUDA software platform, which enables developers to build and run applications on its GPUs. Competing against these established ecosystems presents a significant challenge for new entrants.

Bolt Graphics aims to differentiate Zeus through its architecture and potential performance across specialised computing workloads. However, its ability to compete will depend on real-world benchmarks, software compatibility, power efficiency and commercially viable pricing.

Startup claims its Zeus GPU is 10X faster than Nvidia's RTX 5090: Bolt's first GPU coming in 2026 | Tom's Hardware

Funding to Support Development

If secured, the proposed $100 million investment could help Bolt Graphics accelerate engineering, refine its GPU architecture and strengthen the software infrastructure needed to support adoption. Developing competitive processors requires substantial resources for chip design, testing, manufacturing partnerships and developer tools.

The targeted $700 million valuation would represent a significant milestone for the startup as it seeks to establish itself in a market dominated by companies with extensive technical expertise and financial resources.

A Competitive Road Ahead

The growing demand for AI computing creates opportunities for new GPU manufacturers, but translating technical innovation into commercial success remains difficult.

Bolt Graphics will need to demonstrate that Zeus delivers meaningful advantages over competing products and can attract developers and enterprise customers.

Its progress could offer insight into whether emerging semiconductor companies can challenge established GPU leaders as the market expands.
