According to news from Techcircle.in the investment is somewhere between $3 million and $5 million (Rs 20-32.5 crore). Vani Kola of Kalaari capital has joined the board of Yourstory following the investment.

Youstory was launched in October 2008 and this is the first round of external funding for the company.  According to Techcircle, Yourstory is said to have ended FY15 with revenues of around Rs 5 crore.

This funding is another sign that investors are interested in investing in digital content companies. Earlier this year VCCircle, digital media company that covers deals in the Indian startup space, was acquired by News Corp.
