BMW India has launched the updated version of its coupe SUV the X4. The new X4 is locally manufactured in India at company’s Chennai plant. It is launched in four different variants with pricing ranging from ₹ 60.60 lakh to ₹ 65.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The basic design of the X4 remains the same with that mixture of the face of the X3 with a roofline of a coupe. This new BMW X4 is based on the all-new CLAR platform from the company like the other latest BMW models. Thanks to the new platform the X4 is now 50 kg lighter than the previous version despite being larger in every dimension.
Inside the cabin, the new BMW X4 gets all the latest tech BMW has introduced in the recent time including the smart and interactive BMW display key. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, electric tailgate, BMW’s iDrive infotainment system with 10.25-inch touchscreen display and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system.
In India, the new X4 will be offered with two petrol and two diesel engines paired with an eigth-speed automatic gearbox and xDrive all-wheel drive system sending power to all four wheels.
