8 December, 2015, India: In its fourth round of funding, Nexus Venture Partner has closed the deal by raising the funds of US $ 450 million. The company’s funding was backed up by endowments, foundations and financial institution across North America, Europe and Asia.
With the new funding, the company’s total capital is raised to one billion. Since its inception in 2006, the Nexus Venture has invested in more than 60 companies. The company has successfully completed its fourth round of funding. Earlier, the company has completed its three rounds of funding by raising funds of US $ 100 million in 2007, US $ 220 in 2008 and US $ 270 million 2012.
Nexus Venture covers a broad area in the market right from technology to consumer to business service provider in India. It has planned to concentrate on technology and data led business in consumer retail, financial services, healthcare and education sector.
