India’s most innovative and trusted real estate platform Housing.com, today announced Mani Rangarajan will assume the role of Chief Business Officer (CBO).

Housing.com is India’s leading online real estate platform with 1.7 million verified homes listed to date, and an unparalleled online user experience. The Company is a technologically innovative real estate platform with a larger vision to bring more transparency, efficiency and trust across the real estate ecosystem in India.

Mani Rangarajan will lead the real estate developer and broker sales efforts for the Company, amongst other responsibilities. For the time being, he will continue to oversee the financial operations of the company.

Jason Kothari, Chief Executive Officer, Housing.com said, “We are pleased to announce Mani’s well-deserved promotion to Chief Business Officer. He was asked to lead the monetization efforts, has been very effective and it is now time to formalize these responsibilities. A Silicon Valley veteran with over 20 years of experience, Mani brings with him global expertise and understanding of the internet and financial services sectors at companies such as Yahoo and Citigroup. Having joined Housing.com in October 2015 as the Chief Financial Officer, he has been a key member of the senior management team.

 

“Housing.com stands in a strong position today to emerge as one of the leading players in the online real estate space. While everyone at Housing.com has been working hard towards helping us realise the bold vision of the Company, the new responsibility I have been entrusted with will ensure there is a highly focused effort on aggressive sales growth, which will help us achieve our ambitious targets over the next 18-24 months”, said Mani Rangarajan.
