This is not just a new iOS bud or a virus. Moreover, is a hardware issue which is affecting older iPhones 7 and iPhone 7 Plus units. The first symptoms are for speakerphone and Voice memos. Furthermore, the iPhone 7 or 7 plus will begin intermittently freezing. Finally, when powering on the device gets stuck on the Apple logo.

This is total sounds like an issue of software, but this is the result of an audio chip starting to come loose from the motherboard. The chips repair requires a skilled hand with a soldering and microscope iron.

Apple knows very well about the “loop disease.”

Apple is totally aware of the issue. “We are looking into a very small number of reports affecting the microphone on iPhone 7 if a customer has a question about their device they can contact AppleCare,” an Apple spokesperson told Motherboard.

There is no word from the company about this problem. Moreover, the owners of the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 plus is hoping that the Apple will fix the loose chip after the device warranty get expired. This is not just the first hardware issue with the iPhone 7 plus, in the year 2016, Apple had to replace some of the units with the faulty cameras.
