Of all the odd days to make this discovery, Randy Pitchford of Gearbox Software revealed that 2Ks coming Tiny Tinas Wonderlands will support cross-play between PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. The confirmation will no doubt be good news for PlayStation fans who were banned from crossplay in Borderlands 3 when the feature ended for PS4 and PS5 last year. Just last year, Borderlands 3 released the Borderlands 3 cross-platform update for everything but the PlayStation. While support may seem obvious at the moment, Borderlands 3 made a splash last year by introducing cross-platform play on multiple platforms, but not on PlayStation.
It looks like the Borderlands spin-off Tiny Tinas Wonderlands takes a slightly different approach to cross-platform play than other PlayStation 5 and PS4 cross-platform titles. Either way, fully cross-platform play has been confirmed across all platforms, so if you have friends on Xbox or PlayStation who can’t wait to play Tiny Tinas Wonderlands, you can rest easy. Borderlands 3 featured crossplay across all platforms except PS4 and PS5, which could only play with each other.
In addition to the crossplay news, 2K and Gearbox Software have previously reported that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands coming to 2K will receive a Season Pass and have already revealed post-launch content plans. After revealing the contents of the Season Pass, which will offer four expansions upon launch, Randy Pitchford announces a new addition that will delight players of all backgrounds.

In a tweet, Gearbox Software’s president confirmed that cross-platform play also includes PlayStation, and thanked Gearbox Software’ engineers and partners, including Sony, for working together to make it happen. The tweet did not provide details on how cross-play will work in the game, but those details are expected to come shortly after the game launches on March 25 for Microsoft, Xbox Series X | S, Sony, PS5 and PC.
