Affle acquires Vizury’s commerce business

10 September 2018, India:

Affle India has acquired Bengaluru-based Vizury’s commerce business. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed yet.

Vizury’s commerce division includes the re-targeting media business and the push notification CRM platform business.

As a part of deal,  employees, product, technology, sales, marketing, account management related to the commerce business of Vizuary, will now join Affle.

Subra Krishnan, CEO at Vizury Interactive Solutions, said, “We are happy that our commerce business unit has found a new home and an exciting vision to be part of. The programmatic and creative personalisation capabilities of this platform are used by several e-commerce brands.”

Anuj Khanna Sohum, Chairman, MD and CEO of Affle, said, “Over the last several years Vizury’s commerce business has built a strong technology platform that we believe should become one of Affle’s key assets and help us strengthen our business across multiple markets. We look forward to growing our business with Vizury’s commerce customers.”

Vizury was founded by  Chetan Kulkarni, Gourav Chindlur and Vikram Nayak in 2008. It is Growth Marketing platform that drives user retention and incremental conversions for ecommerce, BFSI and travel brands.
