Flipkart-owned online fashion store Myntra stated Ajit Narayanan, Engineering SVP has taken over from Shamik Sharma as the company’s new Chief Technology and product Officer.
Shamik Sharma moved to advisory role, and will be integral part of the company’s product and technology growth as per the report.
Myntra stated to ToI, “Ajit was earlier heading storefront engineering and has been a key leader in several of Myntra’s innovations. Ajit has been elevated to head all engineering at Myntra. With our mission of using technology to democratise fashion, we are very excited about the new leadership role that Ajit has assumed. He will strengthen the platform and further build upon the strong technological foundations of the company.”
Just 4 months after the acquisition of Jabong, Myntra has seen already seen lots of top level exits. It’s parent company Flipkart though, now runs the ecommerce show in India as it is in control of 70% of the online market. Source- ToI / Image- LinkedIn
