21 December, 2015, Gurgaon: In an interesting move, Aspiring Mind, a Gurgaon based company has acquired an online and mobile internship platform, Letsintern. Though the amount at which this deal was cracked was not disclosed, but the officials revealed that the currently employed 12 member team of Letsintern will continue to help the company to explore new horizons in the business.

This new move is a part of Aspiring Mind’s investment program in the field of internship. Letsintern deals in providing the internship to the students on merit basis. According to the company, internship is an integral part of students’ career and it helps in enhancing their skills and talent.

Commenting on the move, Himanshu Aggarwal, CEO, Aspirinn Mind says, “LetsIntern gives us a very reliable presence in the internship space and in continuing our efforts to add more value to students, colleges and corporations. We expect to combine the reach of both AMCAT and Letsintern platforms and achieve significant synergies.”

Letsintern came into the inception in 2011 when Rishabh Gupta and Pranay Swarup joined hands to create an online platform which can provide internship to students. With this online platform the founders have managed to bring students, colleges and corporates under one roof. It provides all types of opportunities to students such as Internships, Virtual Internships, Brand Evangelists, Volunteer Opportunities, Tasks and even Full time jobs.

Backed up by Amit Khimji Group and Omidyar Network, Aspiring Minds was started by Himanshu Aggarwal and Varun Aggarwal in 2007. The startup helps the company and institutions to choose the appropriate candidate.
