According to VCCircle report, TVS backed CarCrew Technology Pvt Ltd has acquired ClickGarage in a stock and cash deal. The deal size has not been disclosed. Legal advisory firm Burgeon Bizsupport represented Carcrew in this deal.
Vikul Goyal, Co-founder and Chief Executive at Carcrew told VCCircle, “This buyout would help us to focus on doorstep services with combined geographical presence across Mumbai, Pune and Delhi-NCR and consecutively scale to other cities.”
ClickGarage was started by Bhuvan Batra and Shaswat Yadav in 2015. It is a branded network of standardised workshops which provides affordable, transparent and convenient on-demand car and bike services at customer’s home or customer’s office. It provides servicing, repairs, inspections, denting/painting, roadside assistance and car care under one roof.
According to report, ClickGarage had 12-15 employees and all of them will join CarCrew.
Carcrew had raised $500k in angel funding from TVS group in November 2016.
Carcrew is a technology platform for aftermarket sales and services of automobiles. The platform helps make car ownership a hassle-free and affordable experience. It offers a wide array of products and services that range from car cleaning and detailing to regular maintenance, from running repairs to breakdown services, and genuine spare parts and latest accessories.
