The 21st century is the age of technology, and so, there is no denying the fact that technology and innovations hold the key to a better tomorrow. But to accomplish this, technology has to be people-centric. It should be able to apply scientific and organized knowledge to find practical solutions to the problems encountered by humanity. The MindSpark Exhibition, a national level technical exhibition conducted by the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) has been doing just that.
Since its inception in 2007, MindSpark has been relentlessly working as a catalyst to ignite the minds of young engineers to put their innovative ideas to good use. The MindSpark team believes that for this generation to succeed, youngsters should become job-creators, rather than job-seekers. And one of the important tools for this, is innovation.
Therefore, MindSpark’18 brings you an opportunity to innovate and unearth the ‘scientific mind’ within you. After the success of its magnetic pilot edition in 2017, MindSpark presents to you the 2nd edition of the Technical Exhibition on 28th and 29th September 2018.
The exhibition has provided a platform for budding entrepreneurs and innovators to display their products and ideas. In the previous edition, MindSpark hoped to bridge the rural-urban divide to give shape to an ideal utopian civilization. This year, they aspire to take a step towards that dream through the 2nd edition of the technical exhibition.
With the theme of ‘Imbibing Technacy’, this year, the technical exhibition seeks to promote an integrated approach to solve the various facets of today’s technological limitations. For this, it will encourage projects and ideas that will solve our problems with the help of technology.
In the exhibition, startups and companies from across the country will be presenting their innovative research, technology, and products to the world on the 28th and 29th of September. UG or PG engineering students can also grab this rare opportunity to exhibit their projects in front of more than 20,000 people.
With more than 55 events, both technical and non-technical, divided over 12 modules, MindSpark is aiming at spreading state-of-the-art technology across all demographics. The Keynote lecture series is one of the most coveted features of the exhibition, where prominent personalities from different disciplines, deliver eloquent lectures.
One of the biggest technical exhibitions in the country with a footfall of more than 20,000, MindSpark gives an opportunity not only to showcase your talent but also to interact with a diverse audience that includes students, their alumni and sponsors, technology enthusiasts, and faculty from various colleges from Maharashtra.
