Do you want to evolve Sliggoo? Follow the steps inside to learn how you can evolve this Pokémon. This is quite a Pokémon that will be a great addition to your team. Let’s get you started.
About Sliggoo
Sliggoo is known to be a quirky little creature that is called the “Soft Tissue” Pokémon. It’s a pure Dragon-type that has the appearance of a friendly, purple snail. Its eyes are actually devolved, so it’s actually blind and relies on its four sensitive horns. They act like a radar to “smell” and “hear” their surroundings, which helps them recognize things and make contact with them. In Legends: Z-A, you’ll likely encounter its original form, which can then be evolved into a better and stronger version of itself. Although if you’ve played the game enough, you may know that its Steel-type Hisuian cousin remains popular for its defensive shell.
Steps to evolve Sliggoo
If you want to evolve your Sliggoo in any Pokémon game, then these are the steps that you can follow. The process requires some time and effort, and you will get Goodra as a result.
Reach Level 50
This is the primary step that you need to take care of. Your Sliggoo needs to be at least Level 50 before the evolution option even becomes available. Reaching there might take some time, but you should make the effort if you want the evolution. You can continuously do battles in the higher-level Wild Zones or even use Exp. Candies to get there a little faster.
Find Rain
This is the tricky part, and you cannot even skip it. It must be raining in the overworld for Sliggoo to evolve. If the skies are clear, you can optionally find a nearby bench and sit on it to pass the time. Keep cycling through morning, day, and night until the rain finally starts falling, and you can evolve your Sliggoo.
Check Your Menu
As soon as the rain starts, things will become easier for you. Once it’s pouring, you need to open your Satchel. You’ll see that Sliggoo’s Poké Ball is glowing. It means that you can now do it!
Start the Evolution
To begin, just select Sliggoo and choose “Evolve.” If the rain stops before you hit the button, the option will disappear, so you have to do it quickly! After the evolution, you will mostly get the Dragon-type Goodra, but there are also side missions involving its Steel-type Hisuian form if you’re looking for it.
In either case, it is an amazing Pokémon that you can depend on during a battle. This is the process that you need to follow in almost every game and get the evolved version right by your side.
