This feature is being tested with a small portion of Instagram’s worldwide community and will be expanded based on what the Instagram community learns and feedback. Meanwhile, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri announced on Wednesday that the business has launched two new tools to improve user experience, including a “anger shake” that allows users to swiftly report a problem.
Instagram, a Facebook-owned photo-sharing site, stated on Thursday that it is now testing the ability for users to add music to their feed postings in three countries, including India.
Brazil and Turkey are the other two nations where this feature will be tried first.
“With this test, Instagram hopes to give its community a way to add a soundtrack to their Feed photos, like they can with Reels and Stories already. If a user clicks on the song, they will be taken to an audio page that showcases all Feed posts that have used that song,” the company said in a statement.

According to The Verge, this tool would provide Instagram with feedback that will aid in the prioritization of problem fixes.
The option to erase a single image from a photo carousel, which Mosseri described as a “finally” function, was also released on Wednesday.
The carousel function is currently only available for iOS users in the United States.
