There is a rumor that Intel is going to introduce its 9th generation processors in the month of October. On the other hand, Intel Lake chips have been delayed till the year 2019 and this year, the refresh will be based on the modifications of the existing 14nm process.
According to a report, Intel will introduce its new Core i5, i7, and i9 on the 1st of October and they will be branded as the 9th gen processors. The mainstream flagship processor, Intel Core i9-9900K is expected to come up with the 8 cores and 16 threads.
The leaked documents show that this will going to be the first mainstream Core i9 desktop processor. It will also include the 16MB of l3 cache and Intel UHD 620 graphics card. On the other hand, Intel’s 9th gen Core i7 processor is going to ship with 8 cores and 8 threads with the Core i5 shipping with 6 cores and 6 threads.
There is a report that Intel is also going to launch its unblocked overclockable processor first, which will be followed by more 9th gen processors by the end of next year.
