Jaguar Land Rover has launched the petrol version of its luxury SUV F-Pace for the Indian market. The petrol version of Jaguar’s first ever SUV is priced at ₹ 63.17 lakh and will be manufactured in India alongside the diesel variant and other family members like the Jaguar XE, XF, XJ, the Land Rover Discovery Sport and the Range Rover Evoque.
The F-Pace Petrol is offered only in one variant- Prestige and packs a 2-litre Ingenium engine that produces 247 bhp of power and 365 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. The F-Pace petrol does the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 7 seconds before it tops out at 217 km/h.
The interiors and features of the petrol version remain the same as the diesel F-Pace that is already on sale in India and is locally manufactured.
On the occasion, Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd (JLRIL), said, “In the two years since its launch in India, the Jaguar F-Pace has captivated the imagination of Jaguar fans and our discerning customers. With the launch of the locally manufactured Ingenium petrol derivative of the F-Pace, the appeal of our first Jaguar SUV is further enhanced.”
