22 January, 2016, New Delhi: LocalCircles, Delhi based company that enables the denizens to connect with national and local governance has managed to acquire funding from Puneet Dalmia, MD, Dalmia Group.
With this raised amount, the company is looking forward to expand its services to more causes and citizens. Dalmia will be sharing the company’s board with existing investors and advisors, Anand Mahindra (Chairman, Mahindra Group), Nadir Godrej (MD, Godrej Industries), RC Bhargava (Chairman, Maruti).
The company was floated in the market in 2013 by Sachin Taparia, K Yatish Rajawat, Mukesh Gupta and Abhishek Gupta. It allows its users to connect with the causes ranging from civic issues, finding emergency assistance, law & order, local & national governance and more.
Speaking on the investment, Dalmia Opined, “What makes it highly relevant is that any public leader or corporate can easily connect with its constituents or customers using LocalCircles, understand issues better, resolve them and stay connected with the collective pulse in real time.”
