4 December, 2015, New Delhi: Taking a positive step forward and equipping its customers with better transport facilities, Ola Cab has launched Carpool Service in Delhi and Ola Share service in Mumbai. The latest service will provide a facility to the user of creating groups and share their rides with other commuters through an app. The company has ensured that its customers get the safer ride and it has strengthen its security service by installing services such as ride tracking, SOS, emergency contacts, in trip feedback etc.

In a statement released by the company, it claimed that the company has received more than one million booking on the new-year eve. However, company didn’t give any details of the completed rides on the new-year’s eve. With the newly launched service , the comp[any is expecting to increase its customer base.

Ola was founded on 3 December, 2010 by Bhavish Aggarwal (currently CEO) and Ankit Bhati. By 2014, the company has expanded to a network of more than 200,000 cars across 85 cities. In November 2014, Ola expanded to incorporate autos on-trial basis in Bangalore. Post the trial phase, Ola Auto expanded to other cities like Delhi, Pune and Chennai starting December 2014.
