14 May 2019, India:

Online classifieds platform Quikr has partnered with refurbished and excess inventory brand Rocking Deals.

As a part of the tie-up, the company will initially offer Quikr Assured refurbished products in two categories including furniture and large appliances.

With this partnership, Rocking Deals will expand into ‘Furniture’ as a category along with its already existing 18 categories.

This strategic partnership will help Rocking Deals and Quikr get an extra edge to expand their customer base in refurbished, pre-owned and excessive inventory category in the country, the company said in a statement.

This will be Quikr’s first Experience Zone in a metro which will offer customers a touch-and-feel experience for Quikr Assured products in Rocking Deals retail store at Mathura Road in Delhi-NCR.

Yuvraj Singh, Founder & CEO, Rocking Deals said, “We are extremely delighted to join hands with Quikr. I strongly believe this partnership will be a win-win situation for both as it will help us to reach out to more people.”

Yuvraj Singh, added, “Rocking Deals will provide an exclusive space to Quikr at our largest upcoming retail store at Delhi-NCR where it will cater to the growing demand seen on the platform and to offer touch-and-feel experience to its consumers.”

Last month, Quikr acquired Refurbished Goods Marketplace Zefo.

Sarath Chandra Gudlavalleti, VP, QuikrBazaar, said, “We already launched QuikrBazaar franchisee stores for categories such as Furniture, Electronics, and Appliances in tier II towns of Karnataka and Telangana; and they are doing well.”

Sarath Chandra Gudlavalleti, added, “This being our first set-up in a metro, Delhities will not only be able to access our products and services online, but also experience them offline in the Rocking Deals retail store. Thus, providing a seamless first-hand buying experience for all customers.”

All products in the Assured offering are checked for quality, come with a full warranty and replacement guarantee along with doorstep delivery options from Quikr. They are categorized according to their status into unboxed, refurbished, excellent, good, fair and like brand new.
