Career Anna raises Rs 4 crores

Career Anna, a Bangalore-based Edtech startup has now secured Rs. 4 crores in a funding round of Pre Series A from a group of angel investors represented by Subinder Khurana, according to a report by TechCircle.

The startup is going to utilize a portion of the funds to launch learning programmes in vernacular languages including Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu. The startup is also planning to develop user engagement tools on its portal with the help of the newly acquired funds.

Career Anna is operated and owned by Careeranna Education. Founded in 2014 by Varun Saxena, the startup provides an online learning platform that offers exam preparation and certification courses to help both professionals and students.

It offers courses for exams like XAT, MAT, CMAT, CAT, TISSNET, and others, as well as several certifications courses like Artificial Intelligence, Marketing, Finance, Blockchain, Machine Learning, and Data Science.

The startup claims that it has helped around 25,000 professionals and students via its platform, which presently offers more than 150 courses that are taught by around 100 active educators.

In April 2018, Career Anna secured Rs. 3 crores in angel investment from a group of angel investors.
