11 December, 2015, Bangalore: Right To Information (RTI) is a very powerful and informative tool that powers the denizens of the nation. An OnlineRTI was formed to make sure that this powerful tool is within the reach of every Indian. Recently, the company has gained the interest of many investors as it has raised a funding of US $10 mn from Lets Venture, Mohandas Pai and others.
The funding round was backed up by many big players such as Nipun Goyal, President IIFL, Bhupen Shah, Co-founder, Sling Media, Oliphans Capital etc. Bangalore based OnlineRTI was founded by Pradeep Bhatt and Vinod Rangaathan in 2014. It is an online portal where people lodge an RTI with an ease. At present, the company has registered 120,000 RTIs and it has processed 40,000 to the government.
