Envisioning strategic growth in the country, PTC appoints Jaishankar Menon to head channel business and Sundaram Mallik to spearhead marketing initiatives in India
Bangalore, February 12, 2015 – PTC (Nasdaq: PTC), announced Jaishankar Menonappointed in a new role, as the Channel Business Director and Mr. Sundaram Mallik appointed as the Regional Marketing Manager. In this new role, Mr. Jaishankar will oversee PTC’s channel business in India and will be responsible for strategic development and growth of the partner eco-system. With his appointment PTC is looking to expand PTC India’s customer reach across the country.
A seasoned leader, Mr. Jaishankar Menon, has been a part of PTC for the past 2 years spearheading the direct and mid-market business in India. Now in his new role he will be heading channel business for the company. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry ,prior to which he has worked with several companies like Dassault Systemes, Auto desk, Bentley Systems, Astra Business Solutions and Onward Technologies. A graduate from Bangalore University he has led channel expansion initiatives in Autodesk and played an instrumental role in developing channel capability.

Maintaining the Company’s aggressive focus on the Indian market, PTC India also announced the appointment of Mr Sundaram Malik to spearhead the marketing initiatives for India.
Sundaram joins with over 12 years of marketing experience in engineering technology space. Prior to joining PTC, Sundaram was heading field marketing for the Asia Pacific region with a healthcare technology company where he enabled pipeline growth and new business development in countries such as India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines. He has headed marketing communication in Siemens PLM Software’s India business. He has also worked with Ford Motor Company, UK where he was engaged on strategy development project for China, India and Brazil. He brings rich marketing expertise in engineering technology industry which will be critical to drive growth in Smart Connected Products business at PTC. He is an undergraduate from St. Stephens’ College, Delhi and MBA from Warwick Business School, UK.
