Qualcomm is quite popular in making flagship-level chipsets for many smartphones. Previously, Qualcomm launched its new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which came with many such flagship features which made this processor compatible with flagship smartphones.Â
After launching this new flagship chipset, Qualcomm even came up with a new mid-tier chipset which was launched under the branding of the Snapdragon 7 series back in May itself. The new Snapdragon 7 series launched by Qualcomm was the all-new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.Â
Even though the chipset has been unveiled already but still yet to make its way to smartphones too. Besides these leaks, it’s been also said that Qualcomm’s new mid-tier budget chipset which is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 will make its way to launch soon. Qualcomm working for Snapdragon 6 Gen 1
Adding more details about the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC by Qualcomm, it’s been initially leaked out by a popular tipster Evan Blass who has almost revealed all the details you need to know about this new chipset by Qualcomm.Â
Initially, it’s been said that this new Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Soc will be launched as a new budget-friendly chipset for the users. This new chipset will be going by the moniker of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. Adding more details about this new chipset, it’s been said that this new chipset will be launching under the 4NM manufacturing process, and on the hardware side, we get to see a 2.2GHz Kryo CPU and is also coupled with an efficient Adreno GPU too.

As we mentioned, there is no such confirmation about the number of cores used in both GPU and CPU too. However, we will see this chipset coming with a new Snapdragon X62 modem-RF system which helps in bringing mmWave and sub 6Hz 5G support too.
So with this chipset, we will get the support for 5G connectivity to budget-friendly smartphones. Also, the chipset will support up to 12GB of faster LPDDR5 RAM which will be cloaked at 2,750MHz, and also this chipset support UFS 3.1 Storage too.
