21 March, 2016, Bangalore: ‘Bhai’ of Bollywood, Salman Khan who has been playing a master stroke from past few years by giving back-to-back blockbusters is all set to enter the gaming world. For his upcoming movie ‘Sultan’, 99Games has tied up with Yash Raj Films to develop an adventurous game based on the movie. The new tie-up has planned to release the game just two months before the movie.
“We are expecting around 15 million downloads within four months of releasing the game. The game, which is being developed at a cost of around Rs 1 crore, will target 75 per cent of the Indian population,” said Rohith Bhat, founder of Udupi-based 99Games.
The Kalaari Capital and Ascent Capital-backed gaming company had recently inked a multi-year deal with Yash Raj Films as exclusive publisher of a game revolving around Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, ‘Fan’, reports ET.
With this, Bollywood’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is all set to write a new success story in the gaming world as well. Seeing the popularity and tremendous amount of fan following that the star has, the film gurus believe that the game might hit the top spot.
