Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset earlier this month, which is based on 4nm manufacturing technology. Motorola, Realme, Xiaomi, and OnePlus have all announced that their next smartphones would use the newest technology. Samsung, on the other hand, has yet to announce its intention to launch its handset using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU.

Rumors stated that the Galaxy S22 series will be released with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the Exynos 2200 processor. For the Indian model of its Galaxy flagship series, Samsung typically employs an Exynos CPU.

This time, however, it is possible that things will change because the newest information indicates that the Galaxy S22 series will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU in India.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series – What are the new leaks saying?

According to Tron, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC would power the India edition of the next Samsung S22 series smartphones. Furthermore, Samsung’s next flagship Exynos 2200 SoC is expected to bring numerous enhancements over the previous-generation SoC.

The chip’s official release date has yet to be determined. Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, on the other hand, is the successor of the Snapdragon 888 SoC and is reported to be 30% quicker than the previous-generation SoC.

Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, on the other hand, is the successor of the Snapdragon 888 SoC and is reported to be 30% quicker than the previous-generation SoC. As of yet, there is no indication on whether the Indian model of the Galaxy S22 series would have a Snapdragon CPU or an Exynos SoC. As a result, we recommend that our readers regard this as theoretical.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22+, and S22 models are likely to be part of the next-generation Galaxy S22 series. Both the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22+ will have cameras with identical characteristics. Both are expected to have a 50MP primary camera sensor with a sensor size of 1/1.57′′ and an aperture of f/1.8.

The main lens will be joined by a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide angle lens. Both phones are believed to include a 10MP front camera with 1.22m pixel size, a 1/3.24′′ sensor size, and an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and films.

The Galaxy S22+ is believed to have a 6.55-inch screen on the front, while the basic variant is expected to have a slightly smaller 6.06-inch screen.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series – What will it launch?

According to tipster Jon Prosser, Samsung will conduct a Galaxy Unpacked presentation for the Galaxy S22 range on February 8 at 10 a.m. ET (at 8:30 PM IST). He also stated that pre-orders for these handsets would begin on the day they are released, with the general sale beginning on February 18. Details about the India launch are still being kept under wraps for the time being.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which will also be released next year, is expected to arrive in India around the same time as the worldwide announcement. Given this, we anticipate that the Galaxy S22 series will be released in India at the same time or shortly after its worldwide debut.
