According to a Global Report on Women and Entrepreneurship there are still less female entrepreneurs than their male counterparts. In most economies around the world, there are fewer women than men starting and running new businesses, but there are even fewer running mature ones. Analysts also have predicted that by 2020 there will be more female millionaires than men across the globe. But many female business owners still face significant obstacles because of their gender. A few examples of the challenges these business-savvy ladies face are varied such as lack of support, work-life balance, fear of failure, less investor funding, effective utilization of business connections / network, and the expectation to succeed at everything to name a few. The objective is to try decoding a few of these at this forum and seeing today’s womaniya and her journey as a thought leader.
