Education tech startup Vedantu, which is based out of Bangalore, has now raised INR 9.42 crore in the preference and debt funding from the Trifecta Capital.
According to the report, the startup had secured INR 8 crore in April this year and INR 1.4 crore in Series B in June and May the same year.
Moreover, after the present funding, the company will now be going to be valued at $100 Million.
Vedantu was founded in 2014 by the Anand Prakash, Pulki Jain, and Vamsi Krishna. The playroom helps the students to learn with a personalized teaching course. It uses the AI, big data, ML to refine its personalized teaching model.
The startup also claims to have more than 1 million hours of live teaching every month, which caters to 40000 students.
Vedantu offers live online courses to students between the classes of VI and XII. They also have courses for the students preparing for the medical and engineering entrance examinations. Its application has more than 1 lakh downloads, as per the company website.
