Food startup Sattviko has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Indias most successful investors to enable the expansion of ethnic packaged food products business.

The list includes Raman Roy- Founder Quatrro and Indian Angel Network, Ashish Gupta- Former COO Evalueserve, Gaurav Khurana- Microsoft, Vinnie Mehta- ED at ACMA, Yogesh Andlay- Founder, Nucleus Software Ltd., Kevin Freitas- HR Leader at InMobi, N Ravikiran- Entrepreneur,Former head of Product management at Wipro, G Ravishankar- Former CEO Jet Airways and former CFO GE Healthcare and Vaibhav Jain- Founder Swastika Company,Dubai and Hong Kong.

Sattviko was founded in Dec 2013 by Prasoon Gupta, Ankush Sharma and Rahul Gupta. Prior to this Sattviko had also acquired Fyne superfoods.

Satvikko plans to expand packaged food products business across India and abroad. It wishes to become the largest brand for ethnic and healthy traditional Indian food products.

The deal was facilitated by Letsventure and Clip Financial. Sattviko became operationally profitable in the month of July and is also expanding its restaurant chain to 4th city Gandhinagar in Gujarat. It boasts some very successful investors like Sumit Jain,Sanjay bhasin,Rajat Jain and Somesh Sharma as its existing investors.

Sattviko will also launch IOT based healthy snack vending machines are also being developed for corporates to push healthy snacking as per the needs and desires of their employees.
