14th March 2016, California : Google has declared a number of features to be added to Google Play on the first day of Game Developers Conference (GDC). It include new tools like game parameter management, video recording and live streaming Application Program Interface (API), as well as brand new ways to promote games like trial run ads.
The GDC attracts over 26,000 attendees, and is the primary forum where programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, business decision-makers and others involved in the development of interactive games gather to exchange ideas and shape the future of the industry.
Now developers can easily update gameplay and game economy parameters needless to resubmit their apps withe the new game parameters. And can also allow gamers to share the video of their gameplay to YouTube by using the new video recording and live streaming APIs.
Predictive analytics will help developers determine which players are more likely to shell out money within a game.
Google will launch a new way for gamers in coming weeks to try the game out when they do a search for games on Google through a new ad format Trial Run Ads and they could play the game for up to 10 minutes and then download the complete game.
