20 October 2016, USA:
Apple is planning to introduce new Macs at an Oct. 27 event, as per Recode reports.
The event is somewhat of a surprise as Apple opted not to hold two fall events last year and all signs pointed to the iPhone 7 event last month being the last before Apple moves into its new campus next year.
Mac hardware is due for a refresh, however, and recent reports have insisted Apple is planning to unveil its new computing hardware in October. The company officially sent out invitations this week prompting a flurry of speculation. It’s expected Apple will show off a new generation of MacBook Pro laptops at the Californian event on October 27 local time.
The new MacBook range will likely come in the same 13 and 15 inch sizes but is expected to be thinner and lighter. The laptop could come equipped with a wider, pressure-sensitive trackpad and a secondary touchscreen at the top of the keyboard, reports MacRumours.
Its going to be a busy week for the leading companies like Microsoft, Apple and Musk’s SolarCity as they all have one thing in common, ‘launch event’! (Source & Cover image- 9to5mac)
