111 Startups Organises Event on Intellectual Property Rights

02 Jul. 16, PUNE: 111 Startups a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation formed jointly by Mobisoft Infotech and Pesh Group has recently organised event on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on  to help start-up’s in networking and educating them about the misconceptions , ‘Ideas are patent-able’ and also about the methods of protecting ideas and intellectual property rights. Apart from this, the event also guided start-up’s upon which entity to choose while starting up on what parameters and etc.

The event was attended by more than 65 start-up’s, mentors, investors and enthusiasts was organised in 3 sessions, with the first session that was related to ‘networking session over a refreshments’  in which each participant was given a chance to input their thoughts with the entire participants in a span of 30 seconds.

There were many good start-up’s, early stage and also about to be start-up’s, where people provided inputs with their ideas, products and their expectations from the event.

The second session was initiated by Adv Padmaja Pathak, who has been in the field of Intellectual property for last eleven years, introduced audience about the IPR, need of IPR, types of IPR, IPR for tech start-up’s and etc followed by case studies.

The third and last session was presented by Adv Shailendra Pathak who heads the corporate department of Legalance and represents Corporates in consulting, negotiations, drafting and litigation, educated start-up’s with the knowledge of types of entities, which entity should one should chose on what basis and etc. Also, guided about the awareness of legal compliance which need to be taken care.

The event ended with Q and A session and very interesting brain storming session. Post session, several people shared their cards and collaborated for building some disruptive products.
