How to see Snap Wrapped?

I can’t even pronounce entrepreneurship correctly. When I do, people laugh on me and I join them. I never feel embarrassment. Children can’t spell the word entrepreneurship properly as well.

I prefer reading the stories of children by Ruskin Bond than reading the struggle-stories of Bill Gates, Jack Ma, Steve Jobs and other entrepreneurs, instead. Where the world is running behind entrepreneurship, I comfortably sit on chair and hear the Hindi songs of 90’s on my music player. I’ve never felt entrepreneurship a hard task.

Entrepreneurship has never been a rock breaking work for me because I know the secret. If I tell this secret to a child, he can become an entrepreneur within a few years.

The secret is reminded to us again and over again by the successful entrepreneurs, artists and leaders, but like a fool we are running everywhere and hitting our head on every wall.

It is not our mistake that we are fool. It is the fault of other fools who are spreading all the rubbish information in the world. We’ve a lot of information so we are confused. If someone will direct us towards only one street we can easily reach the destination.

The Secret To Be An Entrepreneur

Before I share the secret with you, I want to tell you that to become an entrepreneur a man must first understand and accept patience. Rather than just doing comment, he must believe in doing commitments.

It’s a high time we accept patience and stop talking about it and start doing about it.

The secret is 20/80, the Pareto principle. The Pareto principle states that roughly 80% of the effects come from the 20% of the causes. You’ve already heard about this rule many times and that is the only way you can be an entrepreneur.

Understand the Rule to Do Entrepreneurship

I want you to understand what Nicholson, co-founder and CEO of success coach said in one of his interviews, ‘People end up knowingly focusing on “lack” specifically what they don’t have rather than “abundance” in what they do have.

The same secret was told to us by Bruce Lee for years ago, ‘I fear not the man who practiced 10,000 kicks. I fear the man who practiced one kick 10,000 times.’

We can’t be versatile. It is very rare to find people who are master of every skill that is related to their business. I respectfully ask you, what is the 20% strength in you that will bring 80% of the effects in your business or start-up?’

Why 20/80 Rule For Entrepreneurs is Enough?

The main obstacle for entrepreneurs is the absence of mind-set. It is difficult for a man to stick himself with his strength, side-by-side tackling the problems coming from his weakness.

What I’ve found is that when a person feels the need of another skill, he begins learning the new skill and the time which was required for his strengths, he would spend on his weaknesses. Then the man falls in the category of ‘Jack of all trades, master of none.’

I recall reading somewhere, ‘Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.’ After starting the journey of Entrepreneurship, we should start with what we’ve already and what we can do with it. It takes for years to master one skill, but spending time in trying to do everything is queer.

Entrepreneur should always develop their skill, instead of trying everything.

How Entrepreneurs Tackle Problems Coming From The Skills They Don’t Possess?

Hire people. Yes, this is what successful entrepreneurs have suggested us. Always remember what Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba said, ‘Hire those with better skills than you possess.’ Hire people, empower them and let them do their jobs.

If you can’t hire them then sell your talent, but for selling your talent you must be the master of your skill. Do favors for others and ask favors in return.

I remember the words I read written on the wall of a sports company, ‘If you want something rare and valuable, you need to offer something rare and valuable in return- and in the working world, what you have to offer are your skills.

How Entrepreneurship Develops Their 20% Strength?

For the last two years, I’m just following three rules to develop my strengths.

  • Initiating: Most people waste their times in just thinking whether they should do or not. It is easy to initiate if someone motivates you, but the outside motivation does not remain for a longer span.

Inside motivation only comes from burning desires. Thoughts change into reality if our mind and heart works together. They both must be walk in the same direction.

  • Planning: What are the things in your profession that will force you to do work outside of your comfort zone? Write it down. The more you stretch yourself the better it be. Make plans. Set goals and deadlines. Remember, a goal without a plan is just a wish.

Everyone set goals, but a few achieve them. Deadlines are necessary to develop your skills.

  • Executing: Here is where the difference between ordinary people and extraordinary begins. Ordinary people do comments while extraordinary people do commitments. Ordinary people sit and just dream while extraordinary people sit, dream and change them into reality.
