Chennai-based Xcode Life Sciences Pvt Ltd has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from US-based venture capital firm RoundGlass Partners.
The bioinformatics company was founded in 2010 by Naru Narayanan and Saleem Mohammed. The firm operates on a model where it offers offline testing services to customers. They can further avail additional features like cloud storage of results, custom fitness plans, health tips.
US-based venture firm RoundGlass Partners mostly invests in healthcare technology startups. Started in 2014, the VC firm’s Indian portfolio includes companies like fitness startup Fitpass, gym discovery site Gympik, social wellness app builder zoojoo, doctors networking app Curofy and others.
