Agrahyah Technologies, which is a Mumbai based multimedia content firm, has now secured $11 Million in the funding round of Pre-Series A from a clutch of undisclosed investors.
The company will now have a plan to use the funds to raise the capital for the growth and expansion of audio-on-demand product Awaaz.com.
The funding round even coincides with the company that is diversifying into the English podcasts with an upcoming product branded HFTcafe.com.
Awaaz.com, which claims to be the country first Hindi non-music, audio-on-demand platform was launched in the year 209. The platform even claims to have registered 200000 listeners so far.
“The bets we placed two years ago to create original content in non- video formats such as podcasts, scripted audio shows, and long-form reads in Indian languages are now yielding great results. Our strategy remains to create high-quality original content in audio and text & use technology to deliver it seamlessly,” Sreeraman Thiagarajan, co-founder of Agrahyah Technologies said.
The startup which is founded in 2017, the company has an in-house audio and text content creation capabilities with a team of around 40 people based out of Mumbai.
